Level Up! Level Up!

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

My enjoyment gained 3 levels.

I was actually introduced via Bytejacker (an online internet show).

Your game won the Free Indie Rapid Fire.

Congrats!

Regarding the game, I love it. Everything is completely perfect except for the length of the game. You should add more things, Like more attributes to level up, more enviornments to play in, and improve the level up system in the next one so that it will proivide a more satisfying experience. The girl should also have powers, because that adds an extra dynamic to the game.

But that's only if you want to. It's your game. ;-)

Overall, I think it is an awesome game. I played it and played it.

I hope you're happy about the submission.

Neat!

I like the song, but I think you should try not to be like everyone else. A lot of people try to be like everyone else and you end up with a crowded genre.

Not really melodic...

For me, Mario games have always been about detail and melody in terms of the music. Maybe you could try going in that direction?

For example, the techno drums were completely unnecessary. Try going for a less midi and less mindless sound, like say a piano.

(SA) Beat 'em Up 1-1 --> Go!! (SA) Beat 'em Up 1-1 --> Go!!

Sounds more like an RPG...

The dancy music is alright...

What you could've done is made it a little more fast-paced, the way you're trying to go. I'd also suggest a little bit less of a musical approach melody wise.

If you're going for a beat 'em up, try going for a less musical approach. I still like it, though. Don't listen to the tip I just gave you in a situation for a more music-oriented game, like an RPG or a platform game.
